Let’s see … Charlotte Flair’s actual first name is Ashley but her ring name is Charlotte, which just so happens to be the hometown of her father Ric Flair.
She also does her father’s signature moves – the chops and her version of the figure four leg lock, the figure eight. And let’s not forget the Whooo that Ric has been doing for decades. Charlotte does the Whoo just about every time she does a promo. And Charlotte’s music, ring enterance & attire is a bootleg version of Ric’s.
Charlotte’s whole gimmick is a remix of her father’s and she still hasn’t brought a clue as to why SportsCenter shaded her ass with the graphic at the bottom of the screen that said she is Ric Flair’s daughter.Â
There is nothing wrong with that caption. ESPN got it right. Also everyone knows that she doesn’t really belong in the WrestleMania 35 main event. So that sorry but not sorry mistake on ESPN’s part during her interview that failed to list her accomplishments was another reminder of that.
Charlotte’s Tweet … Girl, It’s a little to late to be bothered don’t ya think ? Your daddy is the reason why you got a contract in the 1st place. The die has already been cast.Â
Dear @espn
7x (now 8) WWE Women’s Champion would have been fine.
If you need a more detailed list of my accolades, feel free to reference last year’s Body Issue or one of the many articles about me on your website.
Sincerely,
Daughter of @WWE HOF’er Ric Flair
