Once again an unexpected event has changed the course of WWE history. Just as the E was about to move forward with Finn Balor as it’s first Universal Champion – a shoulder injury forced him to say bye bye (for 3-6 months)
Finn being fast tracked to the tile was no doubt sending a clear “you f*cked up” message to Roman Reigns, who threw a monkey wrench in his career with that pesky Wellness Violation.
And just like that – Roman is back in the race for the Universal Title after Finn relinquished it on Raw tonight, sending the IWC into conniptions. They will probably never warm up to Roman because they resent the hell out of him for being Vince’s “chosen one” while their darling Kevin Owens was being deprived of the title shots they felt he was entitled to.
Now Kevin along with Big Cass, Roman and Seth will get a shot to be crowned the 2nd Universal Champion next week on Raw.Â
The IWC Weeps & they will have to deal – and Roman Reigns approves of this message.
