WTH: Rusev Goes From A WWE Title Match To SummerSlam Kickoff

It seems like the WWE has been dangling a carrot in front of Rusev’s face for awhile only to snatch it away. They threw him a crumb recently by having him wrestle A.J. Styles in an underwhelming match for the WWE title at Extreme Rules. 

And you would think the WWE would give him a bigger bone with SummerSlam but nooo, Rusev has regressed big time – instead of being high on the card at SummerSlam, he is so low on one of the biggest WWE PPV’s of the year that he is relegated to the SummerSlam kick off show to help prop up his wife Lana. The WWE knows they are dead wrong for doing that bullsh*t.

Rusev is over af but the WWE doesn’t want to pull the trigger on making him one of SmackDown Live’s top wrestlers and eventually WWE champion .. why ?  It’s a head scratcher how the E would rather go through with remixing the Joe Vs A.J. beef, something that the 200 people that watched TNA have already seen.
